Below is a comprehensive list of major works that Dr. Jones has conducted in performance or prepared for performance since graduating from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 1994. When Dr. Jones prepared a choir for a performance by another conductor (or acted as assistant conductor for operas), those works are marked with an asterisk (*). Works in process for the current season are also listed. Included below are many study guides, markings, MIDI files (some not created by me), pronunciation guides, and other documents distributed to the choir to aid in their preparation, mostly for works conducted in the last four years. He hopes other conductors and singers find these tools useful.
While the distinction between major and minor works is often unclear, Dr. Jones has tried to not include any work less than five minutes in length, unless the work was an important milestone in that composer's career or is particularly well-known. Most spirituals, folk songs, and lighter pieces are not included.
